    Cool

    Bill,
I went 13.77 in Alex's GSR and wasn't even used to driving it yet. So I know I can do at least a 13.99 in John's with my Eyes closed. (if not better!) I havn't ridden in his car, but I have worked on it enough to know what he has!

Bill, I don't remember by best 60' time but mph was 108.
Mochanic, okay, I admit that my driving/shifting sucks but 14.8 was my first run. I did much better than that later on you know wink I'm still convince that my damn stock cat, after 150k, is as good as dead. I really felt the difference when i had that hollowed cat on. Let see if I can find a real test pipe since somebody can't finish the "5 mins job" biggrin

    Ok John,
Its not that I couldn't do it, its that I know its not worth it, especially if I have to go and buy a tool that cost over $100!
Like I said let me drive your car and I will show you!

Actually the pass that was done on the drag radials bumped the soft revlimiter a split second before the win light. So if that is the case I still got about 2 mph to play with on the slicks biggrin I have a tenative plan to go back to the track tomorrow if it doenst rain. Got to go piss off somemore ls1 butt smile But this time I will be guttless. I get my crower turbo cams in today but don't know if I will have enough time to get them in.

    alex,
if you are going to the track today, let know. I put the hollowed cat back in..the car felt a lot stronger now (hell yeah, it makes a difference!!). Also I put that gasket on and the nasty sound went away...apparently it wasn't the cat that made that sound..it was the damn exhaust leak (as I showed to you last time). Anyhow, with this cold cold weather, it'll be fun..hopefully I can break into the 13s biggrin

    Goot Lawd! redface
Awesome car you got there! Congrats!
BTW, on the pass with slicks, I'm guessing you were right at redline in 4th gear, right? If so, it looks like that slick is perfect for that power level, but if you up the boost any, you'll need to step up to the next size slick to prevent having to shift into 5th. Again, great times & mph... wish I had that mucho gusto! wink
